In the Boston area, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority has restored normal service for the Mattapan Trolley and light rail Green Line D Branch after shuttle buses replaced both operations on Sunday.

CTrail Hartford Line service on the same route has also been restored — with the exception of its first Springfield-New Haven train — as has the Shore Line East commuter service cancelled on Sunday.
