Correction – KCS (former GWWR/CM&W/IC/ICG/GM&O) Kansas City-Springfield line. I don’t wish to offend any Chicago, Missouri, and Western fans.
This is the NS-UP segment of track that connects the KCS (former GWWR/IC/ICG/
GM&O) Kansas City-Springfield line with the CN (former IC/ICG/IC) Springfield-Gilman-Chicago line. The line looms large in CP-KCS’ effort to keep CN out of Kansas City.
The NS train was west bound thru train and was not doing any switching.
