YOU CAN TELL that the holidays are upon you when you see Coca-Cola’s charming polar bear ads on television. These have become perennial favorites and have sparked a merchandise line ranging from snow globes to clothing.

K-Line has done an exceptional job melding together the popular characters and the firm’s handcar. The handcar itself is nicely detailed and ran very smoothly. Detailing is everything with this model. You get two polar bears that “pump” the handles like they’re in a hurry to get to a Coke machine and a polar cub (mounted on the trailer) clearly enjoying a cold Coke.

No serious railroading intent here, just looking for a fun way to operate your trains! Even if you drink Pepsi or RC Cola, you should check out this novel product.

  1. I have a different version of the handcar. Mine has one large polar bear and a smaller one and a baby seal on the other handle. I haven’t been able to find any documentation on my version
