The Arizona Republic reports the accident in Coolidge, Ariz. — about 45 miles southwest of Phoenix and 60 miles northwest of Tucson — led to a leak of the solvent cyclohexanone from one tank car and caused the closure of a nearby highway. A Union Pacific spokeswoman said the accident occurred about 11:50 a.m., with the leaking tank secured by hazmat teams on site.

Cause of the accident is under investigation.
