Model railroader Rick Stern built a 30 x 48-foot freelanced HO scale model train layout that’s inspired by the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Ry. and a Southern California setting. Rick models the steam-to-diesel transition era so there’s plenty of steam- and diesel-led trains running on the model railroad. Check out these video highlights showing model trains running through several of the detailed scenes.
