In this all-new MRVP series, watch and learn as David Popp walks you through, step-by-step, the full sequence for installing Digital Command Control on a large model railroad. To get things started, David first provides a quick overview of DCC starter systems, and then he gets to work adding a DCC power bus line under MR’s recently updated HO scale Beer Line project layout.

  1. Thanks David this will help me a lot. I’m installing signals and I need to build the bus first so all the boards and detectors receive power.

You can also use Ideal Industries lever wire connectors in place of the suitcase connectors they do the same job just make sure you have the correct gage of wires before you put them in or you will not have a good connection.
