No glue, no solder, has kid's push buttons, and must be torn down early February. 3 4 x 8 tables with 4 MTH PS2 trains, took 9 weeks to set up. All fun.

  1. Chuck,
Your results on this "temporary" layout would bring credit to any permanent layout. There is everything done so well, the detail, the incredible amount of action all combine to make a layout of which you can be so proud. Thanks for sharing it with us all!

  2. Lots of good action.
This layout has more on it than some larger ones I have seen.
Makes me want to go down stairs and start to hook up my accessories.
    Thank you for the video.

  3. Great layout. I would like to see a track plan and some trains running. My hat is off to Chuck! He does a great job.

  4. …brought back many memories…Lionel was the model train of the 40's and 50's…great to see so many of the past action cars, etc.

  5. Great extra's and accessories but would have liked to see the trains running and too bad it's only a temporary setup and not able to stay up longer.

  6. A wonderful layout. I really enjoyed the accessories and all the action in the scenes. One of the best layouts I have seen that showcases these.

  7. I'm a N scaler and it almost makes me want to step up to O gauge.I have a nephew who everytime he see me ask when can he come over and run my trains, he would love this.

  8. Some great looking features but I would like to see trains running. Looks like a lot of work for a temporary layout!

  9. Very nice layout with lots of detail. Love the animation especially the construction site. Thanks for sharing. Ron inTexas

  10. A really wounderful layout, I enjoyed seeing it. After spending 9 weeks building it, it truly is a shame that they have to tear it down again so soon.
    Thanks so much for sharing!
