When Dan Malkiewicz turned from HO to S gauge trains, he kept as inspiration the work of one of the greatest HO modelers – John Allen and his layout, the Gorre & Daphetid.

This 20 x 48-foot S gauge layout was inspired by John Allen's influential HO layout, the Gorre & Daphetid.
That was Just a great layout, with wonderful art work!

Need to see more S scale in CCT. Great layout with outstang detail.
Superb!!! S always sounds so nice, and the effort creating this layout really demonstrates determination.
Niceset up, givesa me the itch to get healthy and workcon mine.
Too short, would of like to have seen more of the trains operating through the various scenes in the magazine.
