1. Hmmm: third rail behind the motor. Shiny paint. Suits on board. Could be the test track at Schenectady. Unless the unfinished carbody was sent to Erie and GE completed it there.

2. Obviously not Grand Central Terminal. Maybe in the vicinity of Schenectady, where it was completed by Alco?
