KWON Radio reports the derailment occurred shortly after noon, according to the Ramona Volunteer Fire Department, and that officials with Washington County Emergency Management say that County Road 3500 will be closed at least through Tuesday at the derailment scene to allow for cleanup.

Watco, the SK&O’s parent company, told KOKI-TV that the train was carrying rock and cement, and that no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.

Ramona is about 30 miles north of Tulsa. The South Kansas & Oklahoma, a Watco property since 1987, operates 730 track-miles in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.
