I was there in Salt Lake City when the 6900 came in with the Golden Spike train from back east. Also rode in the 22 car train behind then 8444 at 90 MPH from Salt Lake to Ogden.
6936 is stored at the Cheyenne shop along with UP’s steam engines.
Where is 6936 stored and is there any schedule for it to be running over UP tracks in the near future.
They really should include a downloadable / printable scale detail drawing of the locomotives with these profiles. As well, they should include information regarding the different modifications to the product over its life time.
. . . You know, the sort of information that would interest regular (12″ to 1′ scale), scale (7-1/2″ & O gauge), and model railroaders (OO, HO, N, & Z)
I like the suggestion from Frank.
