The D&H did not have U25Bs, rather the D&H had the 2,300hp U23B. Would be nice to get the Milwaukee Road U25B #5056 running again at the Illinois Railway Museum.
The U25B was the first domestic GE road diesel. Hundreds of export Universal Series road diesels were built before the U25B was announced.
they were also on the Delaware & Hudson with the lightning strips and blue & silver paint , looked really good and they were powerful
