High Street Trains is set to become the first U.S.-based distributor of British OO gauge model railroad products.

The Menominee Falls, Wisconsin-based retailer, which began business operations in 2024, aims to meet a domestic demand for OO gauge trains. In years past, most OO gauge trains have been sourced from overseas manufacturers and distributors, which meant for US-based consumers long shipping times, high shipping costs, and a greater likelihood of damaged products, requiring a lengthy international returns process.

High Street Trains means to rectify this.

“When I first got the idea to model in OO gauge, I was quickly confronted by the fact that the only way to get equipment was to pay overseas dealer’s high shipping costs and wait” says founder Andrew Bullis.

High Street Trains is a licensed Dapol retailer, and intends to expand their offerings with a wider selection of OO gauge locomotives, rolling stock and structures from additional manufacturers.
