The accident occurred on Tuesday, March 11, during a re-railing operation, the board said on social media.

  1. Could the 2 switchers in the photo of the article be EMD SW1500 belonging to Central California Traction Co.?

  2. As is known, the NTSB does not investigate every railroad crash or derailment. Of course, we will learn in time why it investigates this particular incident.
