American & Ohio recently relocated operations to Duluth, Minn., as part of an acquisition by IPS Cranes.
Located south of Bucyrus Railcar’s exisiting property, and with direct connection through its main yard, this expansion adds an additional 25 acres comprised of 163,000 square feet under roof, 10 repair spots, and yard capacity for up to 75 cars. The purchased machinery and equipment includes overhead cranes, mobile cranes, a blast and paint booth, rail scale, and, fabrication machinery.
