HARTFORD, Wis. — Railfans are already capturing images of Soo Line 2-8-2 No. 1003 as it heads south this weekend for Shriners Hospitals for Children in Chicago. The locomotive is traveling by Wisconsin & Southern, Canadian National, and Metra routes to arrive in time an appearance at 2:15 p.m., Saturday Aug. 12 at Metra’s Galewood station.
