Tim, Walthers offers a car float in HO: http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/933-3152 , and there is a model builder close to me here in Ontario that you can get a car tugs from, it is known as Sylvan Scale Models: http://www.sylvanscalemodels.com/HO%20ships%20new%20page.htm . They also offer a car float in N scale.
Great ideas for a layout. I am taking my original layout apart and basing the new one on this. My layout room is of a similar size to Tom's. I model Canadian Railways in HO. Thank you Tom McRae for the inspiration. Thank you MR staff for presenting the article.
pretty dawg gone nice
Am I missing something; why doesn't MR provide a list of track pieces necessary to build the layouts featured or am I just not looking in the correct area of the site? The PDF pic of the layout is nice but a list of track pieces used would be helpful.
because most of us use flex track and some build their own turnouts. They tell you what # turnouts they are and provide a grid to measure from. These aren’t intended to be a step by step
This layout is interesting. A few good ideas. I like it.
I am building a new layout and this is a layout that showed me a few ideas I can use. Thank's for the info.
Hi, Any ideas where the car ferry can be brought from or do I have to scratch build? Plans any one?
Regards.
