Is there a way to get a more detailed plan of this layout?
Do you have a list of track that is needed for this track plan?
Building this in N-scale would give one more space to model the industries in less compression. Plus you would be able to squeeze in a few more staging tracks in each yard, better representing the actual traffic on the lines, especially the RF&P line!
This layout makes the most of the space by providing a modified prototype junction of a double-track and single track main, two hidden staging yards, and a half dozen industries to be served — one of which is empties in/loads out. My hat's off to Bob Sprague, who accomplishes all this in 10 x 13 feet without making it look cluttered. Great plan!
