Alan was a great friend and will be missed. He knew the White MT’s logging railroads like a expert and help save some of the logging history. Sorry to say he had a long illness before he passed. He was very connected with the steam at Clark’s Trading Post at North Woodstock, NH, close to his home. He was a great member of the team of historians with Bill Gove exploring the rail history in New England. His collection of old photo along with his own help create some of the many books published by Bill Gove.
