Caboose Hobbies, known as The World’s Largest Model Train Store, is now under new ownership and will move to a new retail location in the Denver, Co., metropolitan area. This announcement comes from the new owner Kevin Ruble via the Caboose Hobbies website at www.caboosehobbies.com.
In August 2016, former owners Duane and Joanna Miller had announced their plans to retire and close the business.

I sure hope the new owner will stand behind customer service. The last owner refused to compensate me for a book I ordered and received through the mail that arrived damaged due to improper packing in their shipping department. I was even placed on the Caboose Hobbies black list despite the fact my written complaint was respectful albeit to the point. This is NOT the proper way to run a model railroad hobby shop!
Great News. Always one of my stops in Denver along with the Sports Castle.
YAHOO!
Good news!
Great news! The brick and mortar hobby shops are quickly disappearing. Also it’s great to see younger modelers getting in the hobby. From this “silver backs” point of view.
This is great news. Though I live in Pennsylvania, Caboose Hobbies has been my go-to shop for hard to find detail parts.
