PETALUMA, Calif. — Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit has resumed operations on a limited basis, and will be offering free service through Nov. 6. The system had been shut down for two days as a result of power outages.

Trains will operate to all stops between the Santa Rosa downtown station and downtown San Rafael. Because of power outages and closed railroad crossings, the Sonoma County Airport and Santa Rosa North stations are closed until futher notice.

Operations can change at any time because of fire conditions. Please check the SMART website for current information.
