LAKE FOREST, Ill. — The Center for Railroad Photography & Art has cancelled its “Conversations 2020” annual conference, which had been set for April 17-19 at Lake Forest College.
In an email to conference registrants and a message on the center’s website, the center says the cancellation reflects the rapidly evolving situation involving the COVID-19 virus and the Center for Disease Control’s recommendation to avoid gatherings of 50 or more people for the next eight weeks. Refund information is available on the website.
The center hopes to bring as many as possible of this year’s scheduled presenters to the 2021 event at Lake Forest College.
