I just received my new (and long anticipated) Kato N scale SD70 ACe D&RGW Heritage locomotive.

I am truly impressed with the detail. The locomotive has flawless paintwork, crisp decaling and runs like a dream with the Kato five-pole motor with dual brass flywheels.

This locomotive comes prototypically accurate with bolsterless non-radial HTSC truck and five-chime air horn. It even has air conditioning and GPS details.

The usual Kato refinements are included, such as directional LED headlights and illuminated, preprinted number boards. Kato magnetic knuckle couplers and a DCC Friendly mechanism ready for your drop-in decoder.

Being a Union Pacific fanatic, I can’t wait for the release of the other five locomotives in the heritage series.
