This is a nice looking turntable with good pit detail and molded in a gray plastic. The bridge is made to look like steel with wood ties and guide rails, it is molded in plastic. The bridge is 22cm or 8 and 5/8 inches long. There are a few molding marks on the top surface which can be covered with putty and paint. In the bottom of the pit, there are four mounting screws which hold the drive machine for the turntable. The turntable drive stops at 20 degree intervals.
It can be used with HO or On30 trains. I may take off the rail and ties and install longer wood ties for On30 locomotives. Any way you look at it, this is a great turntable for the price. The only down side is that the track is brass which I will either change out or put a nickel plating on the top of the rail and paint the sides brown and rust.
