  1. The identification below this photo says this observation car is on the Silver Star. But the back of the car and also the nurse’ cap both say Silver Meteor — which by 1955 was the Seaboard’s most premier passenger train. (This was after they discontinued the winter-time only runs of their Orange Blossom Special train from NYC to Miami. The Seaboard ran the Special with no scheduled stops from Richmond to Jacksonville, Florida in order to get to Miami from NYC in 24 hours.)
