Sandy Colabufo’s N scale Annaville & Adirondack is a freelanced model train layout that’s inspired by the Delaware & Hudson RR. The N scale model train layout measures 9 x 21 feet and features an upstate New York setting.

  1. Nice over all layout. May want to add some crossing gates and or cross buck warning signage on the roads.

  2. Grade crossing safety signs coming in the future? Our weirdo friends out here with CalOSHA would have a fit! A great layout. I truly like the track plan as it is a wonderful “let the trains run” configuration. Well done MR staff. Well done Sandy!

  3. What a great layout. I enjoyed the mag article so much, had to read it three times. Wish I had the room, my N scale layout of the RUT is on a 30″ x 60″ table, just fits in my den. No basement here. Good work Sandy.

  4. And just where is the caboose? It ain’t a train without a caboose, especially when the boxcars have roof walks. That knock on the door is the Prototype Police, boy are you in for it now! Nice backdrop and layout otherwise. And yes I run a caboose behind stack trains, so there!
