Always great stuff from Dennis Brennan– first his articles and photos, and now this video! He has a great eye for setting up those realistic viewing angles, and careful arranging realistic structures, roads, etc., in plausible relationship to the right of way. This made me feel like the scenes he was showing existed in the real world and I was fortunate enough to be transported back in time to watch. Keep the great articles coming, Dennis, and please post some more videos when you can as they will be well received.
Reminds me of my youth in Omaha Ne watching the UP, MP, Burlington and a few others switching all the industral spurs. Great job.

I purchased the book about the Sandy Bay which was excellent, hope to use that as a guide for my next layout. The video was very well done, with
the slow train speed and great angle shots. Should add an overall view of the layout at the end so everyone can apprecitate the detailed scenes.
As always, Dennis Brennan's layout and the superb articles and book he has written are at the top of the craft, particularly in that the logic of his approaches are shared with his reading public! He and the late Art Curran are masters at sharing the hows of kitbashing! And to get to see the layout in operation in this video is the icing on the cake! Well done Dennis, all!

Well done. I agree with Mike from NJ, slow speed looks better on a layout like this. Music adds a nice touch. Currently building a harbor scene…Have to look for more views of this harbor.
Wonderful angles in video. Realistic and neat railroad. Good to see some nice slow operation instead of whiz by speed.
grandson(5) loved it. getting the young one interested in the hobby. ride the real one (strasburg and cape may seashore line so far) buy the toy train for the layout.

Yes, a smooth running train. Love the GP7s. A perfect consist, brought back memories of the train track behind the house in NY.
Very nice Dennis, both video and layout, but I'll have to flunk you on RR history. EMD GPs did not exist in 1941. There were very few diesels back then. Just a few ALCO, Baldwin and EMD, switchers and the EMD FT and early E's.
