Get Updates The Baltimore & Ohio stuck to a fairly uniform paint scheme for its freight locomotives throughout most of the diesel era – dark Royal Blue with yellow lettering and a yellow sill stripe. The fuel tank, air tank, and trucks, along with pretty much everything under the sill, were painted black.
