In this case, my comment isn’t on the Camelback, but the 2 coaches to the left of the picture. They bear a family resemblance to the coaches of CNJ’s parent, Reading Company. I wonder if the cars were native to CNJ, or were they Reading hand-me-downs? It also looks like as those coaches may be running on Taylor trucks, similar to those used on most of Reading’s EMU cars. Perhaps closer observers to CNJ can comment on what I see.
Wonderful photo, born in ‘49, would love to see flashback like this someday.
