New paint schemes and road numbers
The Atlas O Summer 2024 Premier catalog featured several models in new paint schemes and road numbers. Premier line offerings include a crane car, crane tender, and Madison heavyweight passenger cars (single car, two-pack, and four-pack). Master line products scheduled for release next year are 40-foot rebuilt and 53-foot well cars, a 55-ton two-bay hopper, 20-foot refrigerated and 40-foot high-cube intermodal containers, and a Ford F-100 pickup.
Atlas O listed two first-time accessory offerings in its Summer 2024 Premier catalog. The company will be selling replacement diesel locomotive wheelsets for four- ($49.95) and six-axle ($69.95) locomotives. The all-metal, powdered wheelsets will feature insulated axles and traction tires. The replacement wheelsets are only applicable for Atlas Premier-series locomotives.
Factory-assembled and painted line poles are also making their debut in the Atlas O lineup. The poles will be offered with two and four crossarms in six-packs for $22.95 to $24.95. The plastic O scale poles can be mounted using the supplied oval base or by inserting the pin on the bottom of the pole into a 5/32” hole.
