Based on a general body style familiar in pre- and immediate postwar America, this snappy little O gauge rapid transit car has a lot going for it: can-style motor, electronic reverse unit, reverse bumpers, and three paint schemes.
The trolley measures just shy of 10 inches long and will operate on O-27 or wider curves. There is a fair amount of body detail, and the car has interior illumination. The speed range on the trolley is quite good at 23.3 scale mph to 67.5 scale mph.
The trolleys look so nice, though, and the motor goes slow enough, that you’ll want to change direction gracefully by sequencing the reverse unit, rather than whacking the end-of-track bumper to activate the reverse. After all, you wouldn’t want the “passengers” to get whiplash and then sue the O gauge transit authority!
I never knew this had both bumpers and an e-reverse.
i am glad i was able to get a trolley before the prices went up. i thought this was a great product.
