  1. Really great post war layout. Liked the realistic use of coal loader and sawmill accessory. Also liked the slower speeds of the trains.

  2. Really nice layout with a lot of really cool accessories that make the video even more worth watching

  3. Nothing could be finer than watching you operate all of your post war equipment! All of your work really shows up in fine fashion. Thank You!

  4. Thanks Carl, for sharing! I have great appreciation for your layout due to the time that I have in mine.

  5. Wow. There is a lot going on here. I especially like the mountain scenes and backdrops. Nice video shots too.

  6. Reminded me of my Uncle Jack Thalken’s layout when I was a kid 60 years ago. Good job of keeping all the classics rolling!

  7. Wonderful layout and beautifully shot. Too bad you didn’t have a background for the long light blue wall and would have enjoyed seeing more of your great accessories at work similar to the turntable and bascule bridge. Great job!

  8. Wow what a layout. Looked great in CTT but man it looks even better in the video. Someday with a lot of prayers and some good luck I might be able to come close to that level of perfection. It must be a ball to run. Haven’t checked but anything on you-tube showing your layout

  9. thank you for the fabulous video. Your creativity for all phases surely is appreciated. Would you answer a question about total square feet ? I don’t have the area as you, but watching your steamer ascend/descend the levels makes me wish that I had!

  10. Great video!!!! It is nice to see the parts of the layout not included in the pictures that accompany the article. In addition to video I would love to have more still photos of featured articles included on the web as subscriber extras.
