  1. I would have enjoyed the videos more if you zeroed in on the scene from a wider angle giving a fuller view of the layout and the context of the action. Nevertheless the video was pretty good.

  2. Inspirational! I am in the planning stage of my "retirement layout" and this video gives me ideas and encouragement.

  3. Very, very impressive. Inspires me to hurry up and get my layout finished so my grandson can play with it. He turns to in June and will be ready to start playing with those trains. Thanks!

  4. Bravo……. makes me want to go down to my own train room and fire up the classics! Great lighting and sound, I finally got my fork lift running smooth. I will be back to watch it again1

  5. Hey, Jonathan. Great layout! Didn't know you were a train guy as well as a sailor and DJ. Are you still racing Tucks? I just bought a half interest in No 172, and will be racing it next season. Contact me when you can. joemccann@att.net

  6. Great video and layout. This will help me get my behind in gear to finish tearing apart my old layout and get started on the new one. Thanks!

  7. Guys,

Thanks for all of your nice comments. And thanks to Joe McCann, my long-suffering sailing instructor from days of yore! You'll be hearing from me soon!

  8. I always love looking at videos of toy trains. It really takes me back to my childhood and my first Lionel layout (age 1month, I guess my dad couldn't wait.) and the trains of my childhood.

  9. You Guys did it again !!!! This has to be one of the best Videos of all time !!!
These are the best working accessories that Lionel ever made and to see them working after 40 years again was a real treat !!! Thank you Jon and
    CTT !!!!

  10. Very good my wife and I really enjoyed it, we very rarely see Lionel or any US train layouts here in UK keep up the good work

  11. Reminds me of 50s TV when Captain Kangaroo had the Lionel trains on and we'd see all of those incredible accessories working!

  12. Really nice job. Much better seeing it in action! And all of the accessories worked flawlessly! (At least in the final cut!)
