  1. Outstanding video! Sound was great! I could smell and feel the steam as the "mike" squeezed between the narrow "canyon."

VERY well done. Super servicing area. Look forward to another installment.

  2. Norm, excellent job realism is outstanding as well as loco weathering ,sound & video, continue want to see more!
    Thankyou

  3. This is a great example of the difference between toy-train and hi-rail! ( I love both !! ) The muted colors (greys , browns , etc. ) make this an incredibly realistic model railroad. Only the third rail sets it apart from a scale pike. I've seen photos of many hi-rail model railroads that unrortunately use too many bright colors. Norm has nailed it! LP

  4. It would be nice to see a article about how you indexed your turntable. This terminal is the best I have seen. WOW, a 10 plus

  5. I can't write enough superlatives to describe it! Excellent sound systems, by the way. The across-the-gutter picture of the servicing terminal on page 50 of the November 2009 issue might be the greatest single photo of scenicing I've ever seen, Norm. Your loco weathering tips inspired me to do the same to my #736 Berkshire.
To me, this is one of the all-time greatest high rail layouts. Five stars just aren't enough.
