Thank you, Marx does not always run on that layout, only when I bring something and commandeer the top track.
Yes the train was running fast, for one thing it is an old Marx train that does not have the good speed control that the new trains have. Also, that layout has a section that has significant power loss to the point that if it is run at a speed that is slower on one part, it stalls on another. If it stalls long enough the motor can burn out, and I don’t want a burned out motor in my locomotive.
