Description: Classic orange and blue colors make up these highly collectible train sets! Released individually during the 80’s and 90’s, each freight consist made up an eye catching set. Some cars have become difficult to find, like the Lionel 5712 Lionel Lines wood side house car. It is one of the harder to find cars in the Lionel Lines freight set from this era. To celebrate their 100th anniversary, Lionel produced several special blue and orange items, including a centennial Hi-cube box car set, several ‘traditional’ box cars, special locomotives, and cabooses. These items really do look great when combined and run together. I’ve had fun putting these sets together so that everyone could enjoy seeing them run.
