Description: What better to do on a rainy Saturday afternoon than to run some trains. It’s been a fruitful modeling season (January to March) for me and many of my modeling efforts are on the layout in this video. A special pleasure for me to watch is the tubular steel power transmission structure shipment, complete with a rider caboose, as it glides around the layout. Several additions and improvements have been made to the layout over the past year, including the addition of a pair of “kitbashed” bracket post signals. Enjoy the trains.

  1. I love the clicking and clacking of the railcars going over the track. AND you are so correct, when the rain returns it’s time to play with the trains. AND for me in Seattle that means a lot of train playing. Your layout is amazing! Model trains are such a fun hobby.

  2. I know there are some ladies in model railroading Janis, but i am so impressed with what you have done. I have followed you for a couple of years. Keep up the good work! Your lay-out is AWSOME!!!

  3. Wow, what a layout! And that’s some good filmmaking as well!

I’m jealous of all that space you’ve got.

  4. Great video Janis!
I like your modeling skills as well as the creative postwar train consists.
Thanks for using a tripod also.
