  1. This was a good show . Looking at some of my train magazines from the 40’s it shows how things have gotten better. Never thought that you could view from the engine like that and the sounds are as they were back in the 40’s. Hope to see more from other operators , show us what you have.

  2. Thank you all for the comments. The layout in the video is 12×19. there is a 4×13 raised level on the port end and a 4×10 On30 raised section on the engine shed end of the layout.

  3. An excellent video. The scenes and editing were superb. Love the weathering and details evident in the all the structures. The use of the on-board camera gave you views seldom scene in other videos. The switching sequences demonstrated the operational potential of hi-rail layouts.

  4. Absolutely sensational! Great job of videography. I loved the detail in the extraordinary layout. Simply one of the best!! Thank you for sharing.

  5. Fascinating! What a joy this must have been to put together a layout like this! Well done Stu! I see more work or tweaking to be done to the layout, but that is all part of being a model railroader!!!!

  6. Excellent action although there should be a longer time gap between the coupling and uncoupling of cars. Fascinating job.

  7. Absolutely stunning! what a piece of work you've done! And, those Redcoats in the woods were a nice surprise, I suppose there's a Revolutionary War re-enactment goin' on.

Gol-durn it! (As Hoss Cartwright would have said) I need a basement!
