  1. George, yes there is a Maroon Santa Fe switcher, that is the most common one, but Marx also made a black Santa Fe switcher that is more realistic looking than the maroon one, I have both.

  3. Excellent! I have many Marx 3/16 scale trains,all steam ,including a beautiful cast metal loco. All run excellent. Marx made some plastic passenger cars,not much variety.They are nice.

  4. Wow, those Marx trains seem to be in great shape. Looked good too. Years ago I had a Marx switcher train set that my grandfather bought me. I remember it distinctly because it was lettered for Santa Fe but it was a kind of purple color and I’d never seen those colors on the Zebras that ran behind my Grandpa’s apt there in Oak Cliff. Thanks for sharing.
