Name:    Janis Roguskie
Railroad Name:    Reading Lines
Location:    Pennsylvania
Scale:    Lionel O Gauge
Theme:    Reading Railroad in Pennsylvania
Description:    Where there’s trains, there’ll be wrecks. I had a derailment while getting a tonnage train underway. Never one to waste an opportunity, I decided to exploit the play value of the derailment. All I need now is some scale gandy dancers. Enjoy the slide show.

  1. Don't you hate it when a set of loaded cars derail and dump? Going at rather a slow speed I had one of four powered F engines derail and take out Z signal. They actually bent the signal. Great display and story line and something all us O scale modelers relate to. Keep these stories coming!

  2. Always nice to see what Janis is up to and again I am inspired by the creativity that comes from this great layout. Thanks for sharing, Ron

  3. Clever way to document a derailment. Looks like the crew did a fine job in getting the main cleared for traffic. I liked the " heavy duty " chain on the crane hook. Looks similar to something I have taken knots out of for wife. Awesome photos and description. Remember the movie " Gremlins" , don't give them water after midnight.
