  1. Quite like the region of S.E. Massachusetts from Brockton through Middleborough, Taunton, Plymouth, to the New Bedford/Fall River area.

  2. David,

Thanks very much for a fine, and helpful series.I model in Hi Rail O, and your tips are just as helpful to me as they are to an N gauger. Though, your layout is so beautiful that I could be wooed away.

    Keep up the great work.

  3. Will this always be available on the website? If not can it be downloaded and saved? Excellent video series on how to!

    Thanks Dave!

  4. Thank you for making this video series. The part on ballasting helped me the most because I am ballasting my HO layout now. I was wondering if there are any other videos on ballasting track.

  5. Mr. Popp… I find this small series you've made here to become quite helpful. As a young enthusiast in the hobby, I'll need all the possible help I can get for any future layouts I have planned. I am a fan of N scale models, and hope to have a small, but functional N scale setup by the time I have the money and space available. Thank you for you're tips and advice. I hope you'll be making more guides in the future. See you down the line!

  6. Hi Ray,
We reposted this series as a video extra for David's story in the May issue. Some folks might have missed it the first time around.

    Thanks for reading Model Railroader.

  7. Every time I watch this I learn more, Outstanding job would like to see the same with HO scale sometime, Thanks!!

  8. Best step by step instruction I have seen. Thanks for a wonderful presentation. Will try some of these techniques on my N gauge lay out.

  9. Loved the series when it came out. Love it now.

The May 2010 issue of MR has a atricle about adding a waterfall / spillway to the river. There was a note about a video extra. I must have a bad search, because I cannot find it.

    Did I misread the note?
