  1. Great ideas for a layout. I am taking my original layout apart and basing the new one on this. My layout room is of a similar size to Tom's. I model Canadian Railways in HO. Thank you Tom McRae for the inspiration. Thank you MR staff for presenting the article.

  2. Am I missing something; why doesn't MR provide a list of track pieces necessary to build the layouts featured or am I just not looking in the correct area of the site? The PDF pic of the layout is nice but a list of track pieces used would be helpful.

    1. because most of us use flex track and some build their own turnouts. They tell you what # turnouts they are and provide a grid to measure from. These aren’t intended to be a step by step
