  1. I sure would like it if these plans had wiring instructions. I'm a beginner, and that would be a big help. Define the "power districts" and make the reversing loops obvious. Perhaps by a separate layout diagram with color coded districts. DCC preferred since as a beginner, that is where i'm starting.
    Why convert later? This seems like a fun layout that i can enjoy along with my two grandsons, ages 6 & 8. They will help with the building.
