  1. Jason,
I just found this track plan on the website and it does look interesting. Can you provide an update? Have you constructed the layout as shown? If so, did you have any challenges when transferring the plan from paper to reality? Thank you for the update!

    1. Scott,
I’m sorry I wasn’t notified of your reply. I ended up building the benchwork for this layout and then I decided it was going to be too complicated plus the helix was going to take up too much room in such a small spare bedroom. I built the Red Rock Northern instead which is mostly complete aside from a little remaining scenery.

  2. I really like this track plan. I've looked at hundreds of track plans and this one seems to make the best use of my 11 x 10 spare bedroom. I began construction of the benchwork last week.

  3. This is just one i am looking at there are a few more that maybe combined. I have a 12×11 room that will start my railroad in and when my last son moves out i have a 13×14 room that i also will have to add on to. My wife said have at it . Great!! now if she will get mad at the $$$$$$ lol. But first the littler room. so i like this one a lot , its hard to pick one and or make my own.

  4. I wish I had seen this plan back in the 1970's, before I tried to fill a 38×21 footroom with something I could never finish. This plan is what I should have done years ago.
