I couldn't agree more with Joseph – the Troy Branch is a wonderful railroad, and has enough operational potential to stand on its own (even without the connection to the full MR&T).
The video tour can be found here: http://mrr.trains.com/video/layout-visits/2009/07/video-take-a-tour-of-the-wisconsin-and-southern
Or, click the "video" tab at the top or MR's website and search for "Wisconsin Southern."
Hope that helps!
The Troy Branch is by far my favoite of all Project Layouts completed by the Model Railroader staff. Besides a few small changes that I would make, the Troy Branch would be a fun railroad to build. It seems like only yesterday, but it was completed and published in 2008. Five years later, I wonder how the layout is doing. There were some videos about the Troy Branch on this site, but I cannot seem to find them.
