What happened to the MR Digital Archive?
I am glad that I am not the only one with this difficulty.
I do not recall seeing a notification that the archive has been relocated or discontinued or whatever. My understanding was that a subscription to MR included access to the archive. This subscription is not inexpensive. It may be appropriate to reconsider this difficulty when renewal time come up again.
I agree with the sentiments of the above dissatisfied members. Everything is so complicated that I can’t bring up the current digital issue of Model Railroader. I will just run-out my current subscription.

Agreed–the last update to the “All Time” archive improved search functions and was finally useful and mostly accurate (though still missed some articles even with obvious key words). But now I have to sign up to a new one? Are we being pro-rated for what we already paid in advance to the missing archive? Where will this show, as my profile page no longer shows remaining issues on my subscription–or that I even have a subscription! This needs to be straightened out, with details in a direct email and not buried on the website somewhere. Where is the product I paid for?
As a professional digital strategist, I have to say that Kalmbach are clueless. I am logged in, in my account and it offers me a link for a 30 day trial for your new trains.com thing, which I want to look at to see if that’s where you’ve moved the archive search. Stupid thing goes to an empty page wanting me to create a new account ??? Imbeciles, I’m already a customer. No way I am subscribing twice for the same thing. Assuming anyone even monitors this forum, please confirm whether or not the trains.com archive includes a cross issue search function.
Where the hell did the digital archive search function go that was there a few weeks ago. I wrote an article elsewhere praising it and now it’s gone. The archive is useless if you can’t search it. No way I am signing up for trains.com unless I get back what I already had to pay $145 Cdn for. KALMBACH, you have become AMATEURS.
Sadly, this is the poorest excuse for a website that you have fielded to date. It is not only totally confusing, but actually incomplete. I suggest you return to your former site until you have this new one figured out.
this page has no value. i can’t find a link that transfers me to the digital archives
