N scale Master Line Plus model scheduled for release in fourth quarter 2022
Following on the success of the HO scale version, Atlas is bringing the Trinity 3,230-cubic-foot capacity Pressure Differential covered hopper to N scale. The Master Line Plus model is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter this year.
Chicago Freight Car, CIT Group, General American, Roanoke Cement, Trinity Industries Leasing, and TXI (with GBRX reporting marks) will be the initial road names offered on the covered hopper. Each paint scheme will be available in four road numbers.
The newly tooled car features injection-molded plastic construction, etched-metal running boards, metal wheelsets, and magnetic couplers.

Roanoke Cement is one of six road names offered on the Atlas Master Line Plus Trinity 3,230-cubic-foot capacity Pressure Differential covered hopper. The N scale model is scheduled for release in late 2022.
Many of the Trinity 3230 Pressure Differential covered hoppers are operated by leasing companies, including General American Marks Co. The car features yellow vertical conspicuity stripes.
Chicago Freight Car is another lease scheme offered by Atlas on its new N scale covered hopper. This car has two “Do not hammer” symbols per side.
The Trinity 3230 Pressure Differential covered hopper is used to haul cement and various grades of fly ash. The Trinity Industries Leasing car has blue roller-bearing caps and the reporting marks and road number stenciled on the sideframes.
Greenbrier Management Services 65000 through 65049 were built by TrinityRail under Job 3048 in June 2006. The Atlas model features the logo of TXI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Martin Marietta Materials Inc. that manufactures concrete-related products.
CIT Group no. 440506 is part of the railcar leasing company’s 440406 through 440705 series. The model, based on a prototype built between January and April 2012, features horizontal yellow conspicuity stripes.
