Micro Engineering, the Macon, Missouri-based model railroad track manufacturer, announced in a recent press release that it has acquired Tomalco Track.

“Micro Engineering Company is pleased to announce the addition of Tomalco Track and its S scale tooling to the Micro Engineering family. Micro Engineering will be adding six different S scale items to its line of high-quality, prototypically accurate track.”

Tomalco Track announced earlier this year that it would be closing in 2025, pending the sale of the flextrack side of its business.

“It’s time that S scale modelers had a reliable source of track for their layouts” said Jack Dwiggins, co-owner and operations manager for Micro Engineering Company, in the press release. “We will be offering S scale track in codes 70, 83 and 100, both weathered and un-weathered.”

Micro Engineering co-owner and sales manager Jon Dwiggin added, “We are extremely pleased to add S scale to our line of track products. We look forward to making new friends in the S scale world”
