great items on line
Sure wished I could be there but I did order three craftsman kits with the money I would have spent going.
Totally awesome !!!
Great information about the new poducts, especially the SweepSticks. These are a great aid in track laying.
Thanks for the great opportunity to look at the new products ahead of time. Will be buying a few things.
How about some new news from Athearn. It sure would be nice to hear/see something about SD70M-2(CN would be extra nice) or did you buy the molds from Tower 55 to keep others from producing them?! Let's get something out before they the real ones are located in the musems.
Respectfully and thank you in advance,
George(from the Land of Lincoln & Horizon Hobbies)
Hold the trainphones, that ain't an L1S! Can anyone confirm that the "new" release from Marklin is REALLY a PRR L1s 2-8-2 mikado? The model pictured in the release above is a USRA mike, class L2s on the PRR (and nothing new). And while we're at it, that paint job is AWFUL. Its a GN loco decaled for PRR. Not exactly kosher.
Where's the news about the Athearn HO RTR U50?
GREAT NEW STUFF,HOPE THERES MORE N-SCALE!!!!
WOW – What an exciting time to be in Model Railroading. I'm not able to get to Milwaukee for the show so this preview is much appreciated. Will there be a follow up with videos after the show?
Once again, the long-awaited U25/28C in HO is absent. Ugh!
What was the final attendance for the National Train Show??
Good to see that bachmann re-run the city houses.
Christian!
That's it??? I'm really disappointed that MTH didn't announce anything new in HO. It was nice to see Bachmann offer the Climax with the new set ups but when is someone going to bring out a Forney in HO? Let's go folks!
Given the eonomic climate, it's laudable that so many new products were introduced–and a perennial favorite like the RS-3 has a great chance of selling well and justifying Bachmann's investment. I'm getting one in B&M!
There were a lot of cool new products at the Train Show! I applaud the manufacturers for introducing well-executed products. However, I don't understand why there is another RS-3 in HO with the available Atlas, Athearn, and Bowser (Stewart) models. Also, a U50 is great in RTR, but how about a 2-6-2T for logging RRs, or an SW1001 for modern steel mill/industrial RRs? Hundreds were built, but still no models. Not everyone has the space for a U50 or a 4-12-2!
Where's Athearn?? And I thought Bachmann would have more On30 ie rolling stock like they have with the large scale.
wow, I can't wait to see one of the three ton climax engines in HO scale. I've been waiting,(not so patiently), for another company to produce this engine. All the other new models and kits are right on time as I'm just starting a new layout. Some of these will hopefully be incorporated into my layout. Thanks to all the manufactures for there hard work. Thanks guys!
This comment is in reference to the picture showing the Marklin 2-8-2. While the caption (and accompanying text) describes the Marklin 2-8-2 as a PRR L1s, the picture shows a USRA Light Mikado painted for PRR 9631, which was class L2s while working on the PRR. Based on previous Marklin and Trix releases in HO, I think this is a USRA Light Mikado painted for PRR class L2s.
Let's see now. From Walthers we have seen streamlined trains for Great Northern, Union Pacific, Santa Fe, New York Central, C&NW and now here comes Pennsylvania. Did I miss anyone?
I wonder if I will live long enough to see a MP-TP Eagle train.
