  1. I beginning to wonder about the state of N Scale model railroading. Athearn has not produced anything of note in months, and Atlas's offerings are weak. It appears that Micro Trains is the only major company to support the hobby. Exactrail and Fox Valley are also to be commented. But overall it appears that us N scalers may have to become do-it-ourselves like the S scale folks. Model Railroader continues to be a asset.
